Taking place over the last four days, all 12 CDL franchises competed across a double-elimination bracket to earn CDL Points and a share of the tournament’s $365,000 (~£281,477) prize pool. As a result of winning the tournament, Atlanta FaZe receives 100 CDL Points and $150,000 (~£115,663).

Heading into the event as the second seed, Atlanta FaZe began its campaign in the winner’s bracket, defeating Minnesota Rokkr, New York Cloud9 and Vancouver Surge to secure a place in the Grand Final.

Vancouver won against Carolina Royal Ravens and Boston Breach to set up a winner’s final clash against Atlanta FaZe. The latter emerged victorious after a hard-fought series that went down to the final map. The loss sent Vancouver into the elimination bracket but it bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Toronto Ultra to set up a rematch in the Grand Final.

The Major 1 Grand Final came down to the final round of game seven but Major 2 was a much more straightforward contest for the defending Major winners. Atlanta FaZe swept aside Vancouver Surge with a swift 4-0 victory, making them the first team in nine years to win three consecutive tournaments.

Atlanta FaZe’s victory takes their total number of Call of Duty League Major trophies to seven. In addition to Major 1 and 2, the franchise has won the 2021 CDL Championship and the 2024 Esports World Cup.

CDL Major 3 2025 qualifiers

With Major 2 concluded, the halfway point of the 2025 CDL season has been hit. Atlanta FaZe and the 11 other franchises will return to action with another set of online qualifiers for the third Major of the season.

Online qualifiers begin on April 4th, 2025 and conclude on, April 20th, 2025.
